However, this approximating method requires higher transmission speed so that huge memory capacity is needed and usually casues the velocity of machine tool discontinuous. As a result, the requirement of high speed and better precision is difficult to be achieved. According to the above problems, this paper adopts the NC code created directly by CAD/CAM’s NURBS curve and makes CNC machine tool has the function of processing NURBS curve interpolations to improve the weakness of the traditional processing such that it can reach the goal of high speed and better precision.
