论文摘要本文从祠堂空间的原生祭祀性和次生公共性两个方面来探讨中国古代社会 论文摘要 本文从祠堂空间的原生祭祀性和次生公共性两个方面来探讨中国古代社会 中祠堂曾经对居住形态所起的主导作用：并结合现代环境设计的手法来分析以祠 堂为核心的传统公共空间与居住的密切关系；同时通过对比古代社会来分析现代 居住中存在的种种问题，展望未来作为居住中心的公共空间的发展趋势。 本文广泛采用了比较韵方法，古与今，中与西，传统与现代，力求对中国传 统居住的影响因素，尤其是对居住生活与公共空间的发展关系进行全面的剖析， 并结合到现代城市居住及环境设计当中。 全文首先从祠堂的原生性功能——祭祀来论述祠堂的起源，并初步探讨在祭 祀空间产生的早期，居住与祭祀之间的关系。其次，从中国宗族社会演变及其家 庭居住模式演变的角度，结合祠堂的历史演变来探讨在中国古代居住形态中，宗 族以及祠堂所起的作用。第三章引用例证来分析现存中国传统村落的祠堂及其与 居住的相互影响，并分析了南北村落祠堂的差异、祠堂衰落的原因以及新形式的 居住中心。第四章尝试用现代的空间环境设计理论来分析祠堂以及周围的公共空 间，以期寻找村落丰富的公众生活和良好居住氛围的空间要素。最后本文回顾了 工业革命前后西方居住的发展历程。从中我们可以发现相对缺乏的公众空间已经 被单独提炼出来成为城市居住生活的一个重要场所，而曾经在古村落和古代城市 中无处不在的公众生活也成为时代追求的主题。 关键词：原生祭祀性 次生公共性 宗族 祠堂 居住 公共空间 ABSTRACTBased ABSTRACT Based on the two properties of the Chinese ancestral temple that one is for ancestor worship and another is for social gathering，this thesis analyses how the ancestral temple dominates the distribution of the folk-dwellings．Then the thesis probes into the relation between the traditional public spaces and the surrounding dwelling houses using the contemporary theories of the environment art．By contrasting the ancient village with the modem city,this paper tries to fmd the way to solve the problems in the modem living，and it also analyses the trend of the future public spaces as the living center． T11is thesis uses the method of comparison between the old and the new,the east and the west．the traditional and the modem，to probe into也e influence of the ancestral temple on the inhabRation，and combines it with the urban design． There are five chapters in this thesis．Chapter 1 introduces the origin of the ancestral temple mainly from its function as a sacred space．Chapter 2 discusses how the clan exerted a profound influence on the evolvement of inhabitation in ancient China．Chapter 3 cites some villages of both south and north to illustratc the ancestral temple’S social and mental meaning as a place for the villagers‘getting together．By contrasting the north with the south we can see that the ancestral temples decline
