浙江大学硕士学位论文 浙江大学硕士学位论文 创业型领导与员工效能关系研究;人力资源实践与匹配视角 Abstract Leadership is a critical factor for both organizational development and competitiveness.In all increasingly global business arena,outstanding leadership is ever more important for Chinese enterprises. In the Increasm羽y turbulent and competitive environment business firms face today,a type of‘‘entrepreneurial’’leader distinct from other behavioral forms of leadership is required.The concept of entrepreneurial leadership involves fusing the concepts of‘‘entrepreneurship,‘‘entrepreneurial orientation,and“entrepreneurial management’with leadership.Following this stream of study,this article aims to study the effectiveness of entrepreneurial leadership from the perspective of fit and human resonrce practices. A substantial body of work on self-regulation has emerged in social psychology, demonstrating that regulatory orientations can affect the manner in which people identify and pursue goals.Based on the analysis of the locomotion mode,we hypothesize that the effectiveness of entrepreneurial leadership will be moderated by the level of followers’locomotion mode.We find support for this idea by using data on entrepreneurial leadership and several indicators for employee effectiveness. Based on the moderating effect of locomotion mode,we study the fit between entrepreneurial leadership style and regulatory mode.Regulatory mode theory distinguishes between two primary functions in self-regulation--assessment and locomotion.We suggest that entrepreneurial leadership will be more effective In increasing employee effectiveness from people wjth more of a locomotion mode rather than people with more of all assessment mode.We find that under entrepreurial leadership.people with more of a locomotion mode do not exhibit highcr level of motivation and satisfaction than people with more of an assessment mode,and there is no significant difference between their tumovcr intentions,but they do achieve higher work
