Withtherapiddevelopmentofproductiveservices,moreandmoreresearcherspayattentiontotheirlo- cationdrive.Basedontheresearchathomeandabroad,thispaperbeginswithcharactersoftheservicepro- duction;thesecharactersincludeface-to-facecontactneedsintheserviceexchangeandtheservicebuyers participationintheproductionprocess.Second,itdiscussestheirinherentlocationmeanings,andconjoins themwithdrivemechanismswhichinfluenceproductiveserviceslocation;thedrivesincludenon-standard productionofproductiveservices,thestructuraleffectoforganizations,theface-to-facecontactneedsduring theexchangeofservicegoods,newinformationtechnologyandlocalconditionetc.Third,itexplainsthepro- ductiveservicesagglomerationanddiffusion.Atlast,thehigh-levelandnon-standardproductiveservi
