摘要Abstract 摘要 Abstract 111e spatial disparity of tourism development in China has been studied by many researchers， but most of these studies have carried out based on single indicator such as tourist arrivals or tourist receipts， and considered only the indicators with absolute quantity．This paper proposes that the comparison of difference in tourism development in different regions should consider their sizes of area and population numbers， and the various indicators that can indicate the developing level of tourism industry should be also considered at the same time．Only through comprehensive evaluation the spatial disparity in tourism development Can be truly reflected． Based on the above considerations，this paper has selected five indicators such as average tourist receipts per resident，tourist density, road net density,tourist bed density， as well鹤the A—level tourism resorts， which conceFn the tourist receipts， tourist arrivals，tourist tra衔c，tourist accommodation facilities， and the tourism resources have already been exploited， respectively Through model construction the spatial disparity in tourism development in Fujian has been analyzed．The assessing results indicate that the developing degree of tourism industry in 9 districts Can be ordered from high to low as follows：Xiamen—Fu西10u—Qu锄zhou—Z11趾g出ou—S锄miIlg— Nanping---Putian--Ningde--Longyan．Further analysis suggests that the 9 districts in tourism development Can be basically divided into following three types：key tourism development districts including cities Xiamen， Fuzhou and Quanzhou；relatively rapid development districts in tourism industry including cities Zhangzhou， Sanming and Nanping；lagging behind tourism development districts consisting of cities Putian， Ningde and Longyan． Due to the limitations of statistical data and author’S research level，there exist inevitably still some shortcomings in the paper， which should be improved in further study． Keywords：tourismi spatial disparity；Fujian P
