China Environmental Science, 2008,28(6) 548~551 Abstract Using GC-ECD analysis was carried out on organochlorine pesticides in northwestern Sichuan to Chongqing City. The total organic pesticide concentration was 0.71 to 28.94 ng/g, the concentrations of HCHs and DDTs were 0.06~2.10 ng/g and 0.12~27.04 ng/g, respectively. The analysis inferred that partial area had new HCHs and DDTs input, the residual level of DDTs presented the tendency of jumping type lowering with the increase of altitude, and the concentration HCHs distribution was even relatively. The large amount of high altitude zone organochlorine pesticide proved that atmospheric transportation and mountain wind action were the main factors of making organochlorine pesticide movement and accumulation.
