PEP Book 8 Unit 4 Then and now A Let’s try Let’s talk
教材分析:本部分学习核心句型There was ... / There were ... 教材通过吴一凡爷爷与孩子们交流学校过去的情况让学生感知上述句型的语义及语用情景,学会运用There was ... / There were ...描述某地过去的状态。
教学目标:学生能理解对话大意并能正确朗读所学对话(包含正确的语调和意群停顿);能在图片的帮助下,在情景中运用There be 句型,用3---5句话描述学校或某个地方过去与现在的状态和变化;能理解one day,look it up, in my time, Internet 的意义和用法,并能正确发音;了解人类首次登月的一些信息。
文化意识与学习策略目标:能够在语篇中不着不同类型的信息,提炼文章的主旨大意,并进行简单的推理;学会上网查询资料,自主学习。
教学重点:能够听、说、读、写,并在情景中运用句型:There was … There were … 谈论过去的事物; 能够在语境中理解生词star, easy, look up 及 Internet的意思,并能正确发音。
教学难点:能够完成绘图描述自己学校过去与现在变化的活动。能够按照正确的语音、语调及意群朗读对话,并能进行角色表演。
学情分析:学生已经掌握了There be 现在时的表达法;以及蓝天小学5年前与现在的不同。因此可以通过PPT图创设真实的情境,引导学生通过学校的今昔对比,引出对话内容。
教学设计:
Free talk:
播放Flash校歌视频,生边观看视频边思考:What’s the school like? ----引导学生用There be 句型描述,然后出示以前的校园图,引导学生用There was/were描述;最后小结引出句子It changed a lot. (更自然的引入Lets try部分。)
校对Try部分的练习,T ask: What was the school like in Grandpa’s time?
Presentation:
1. Watch the video(课本对话的视频),学生观看后回答
2. Let’s talk
? T: Ok, let’s read the dialogues , try to find out what was the school like before?
S: There was no library in the old school. There was only one small building on a hill. We could see stars
At night. There were no computers.
Then
There were no computers in the school before.
There was no library.
There was only one small building on a hill.
We could see stars at night.
There were no computers
There were no computers or library in the school before.
引导学生联想:What’s the school like now? (小组讨论)
出事P34插图,配上句子,两个方框进行对比。
(过渡)T:Do you like computers? Is the computer helpful for us?
S: Yes.
T: What is tat? We can use the computer to ......(引导学生交流)
引出单词并教授: Internet: In--ter--net; look up: look up the information on the Internet
T: Wu Yifan looked up something on the Internet, What information did he look up? Read the dialogues and find out.
播放Wu Yifan 的录音,学生感知The Americans took about 5 days to get there in 1969.
引导学生理解took花费地意思。
