Key structure 1. Excuse me, do you know…… 2. Excuse me, Could you please tell me…… 3. I wonder…… Teaching and difficulties 1.Learn some polite to ask the way way. 2.objective clauses. Period 1 Procedure Step 1 Greeting. T: good afternoon, everybody. Ss: good afternoon, Miss Yang. T: How are you? Ss: I’m fine, thanks. How are you? T: I’m fine, too. Thank you, sit down,please. Ss: Thank you. Step 2 Lead-in: Review the definition of the object clause, guide word, word order, tense, and the negative transfer. Step 3 1. Let the students circle the guide word. 2. Explain the conversation. 3. Let the students try to read, to can’t read the words on the sign. 4. Let a classmate read two times with the class. 5. The whole class to read. Step 4 Led by the special question word object clauses. 1.特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句: 当宾语从句是特殊疑问句时,用疑问词作引导词。特殊疑问词引导宾语从句时,特殊疑问词不可省略,而且宾语从句要用陈述句语序。 Where will we have a meeting? 我们将在哪儿开会? — Could you please tell me where we will have a meeting? 您能告诉我我们将在哪儿开会吗? What should I do next? 下一步我该做什么? — I wonder what I should do next? 我想知道下一步我该做什么? 2.含宾语从句的复合句与简单句的相互转换 含有疑问词引导的宾语从句的主从复合句中,若主句的主语或宾语与从句的主语一致,则宾语从句可以变成“疑问词+动词不定式”的形式。 I don’t know how I should do it next. I don’t know how to do it next. 我不知道下一步应该怎样做。 3. 改写宾语从句的三个关键点: (1)确定从句的引导词:宾语从句的引导词要根 据从句句式来确定,其对应情况如下表: 陈述句 that 一般疑问句 if 或whether 特殊疑问句Rewrite the questions to make them more polite. 特殊疑问词: who, what, which, when, where, how, why. (2)确保从句语序正确:无论原句是何种句式,宾语从句要用陈述语序。 Step 5 4a: 1. Let the students rewrite the questions
