课前热身:
1. Listen to the song
Step1.Free talk
T:What day is it?
Ss: It’s Wednesday.
T:What’s the weather like today?
Ss: It’s rainy.
T:What do you usually do at home?
Ss: I usually wash my clothes /water the flowers.
T:Do you cook dinner on the weekend?
Ss: No, I don’t.
T::Do you watch TV/clean your room?
Ss: Yes, I do.
T:Great!You’re so hard-working.
T:Tomorrow is Saturday. What will you do on the weekend?
S:I will fly kites.
T:Will you go hiking ?
S:Yes,I will.
T:(Show the calendar)Look at the calendar. It was last weekend.
Ask a student: How was your weekend?
S:It was good.
T:What did you do?
S:I stayed at home.
Step2.Mike and Chen Jie stayed at home last weekend.
What did they do ?Let’s look at the cards. Let’s learn the new words.
1) What did you do?
I cleaned my room.(one by one)
2)Ask and answer in four groups.
T(ask the student)How was your weekend?
S:It was fine .thanks.
T:What did you do?
S:I stayed at home.
Ss Practice with the partner .Meanwhile the teacher writes on the blackboard.
Ss see the screen .Read the words and sentences.
Step3.There are six students. They did a lot of things. They ask each other .Then make a report.
Look at the screen. There is an example.(listen and read)

Each four students in a group to practice. Ask four students to make a report.
