Greetings.?? 2. Have a free talk about last weekend.? 3. Lead in.? Step 2:Pre-reading 1. Show and teach the new words:fixed, hotel, broken, lamp, loud, enjoy, stay. 2. Show a picture of a hotel, and ask: Have you ever stayed in a hotel??How was it? 3.T:Wu?Yifan?and?his?family?stayed?in?a?hotel?yesterday.?It?was?not?a?good?time.?Why??(Let students guess.) Step 3. While-reading 1. Ask students to listen and read the text quickly,and answer the questions: Q1: How?was?Wu?Yifan’s?stay?in?the?hotel??(It was bad.) Q2: What?was?the?room?like? (It was big but everything was old.)I? 2. Ask students to read the text carefully,then discuss and answer the following questions: Q1: What did Robin do?(He cleaned the room and fixed a broken chair.) Q2: What did Wu Yifan’s mother want to do? (She wanted to read a book.) Q3: What did Wu Yifan’s father do? (He got some hamburgers from the kitchen.) Q4: What did Wu Yifan want to do?
