中北大学学位论文 中北大学学位论文 万方数据 万方数据 Design and implementation of HD video surveillance system based on DM368 Abstract With the pursuit of high-definition, networked, intelligent video surveillance system , this thesis designs a high-definition video surveillance system based on DM368 processor by means of the powerful TI DaVinci technology. Firstly, the video surveillance system which mainly related to the embedded Linux operating system, the basic principle and method of the video compression and video codec standard, Ethernet and stream media technology is analyzed briefly, to make theoretical preparation for the further system development. Secondly, in the hardware design of the system, this thesis makes a detailed analysis about the ARM subsystem,video co-processor, video processing subsystem and peripheral interfaces based on the DM368 hardware platform, designs the peripheral hardware devices according to the need of surveillance system, and presents video input and output interface modules , external memory interface module, Ethernet communication module design principle, power modules in detail which the system required meets the need of the system hardware. Besides, the system software development platform is built, mainly about the Linux operating system’s software development environment, including the development of Bootloader and the cutting and grafting of system kernel . Finally, the system application software which including video capture, video encoding and Ethernet transmission is designed that ensures the surveillance systems can real-time capture, compress and transmit the high-definition video . In this thesis, the design of high-definition video surveillance system meets the demand of general video monitoring, has certain versatility and practicability.This system has certain improvement compared with the existing monitoring system products, and possesses some reference value and economic value.
