1. 学习两对意思相反的形容词:“small”和“big”,“short”和“long”。

教学过程:
Step 1 : Warm-up
1. Greetings
T: Good morning, boys and girls. I’m glad to meet our students. Today we’ll learn Unit 3 At the zoo. Follow me , please.
Show your learning goals
Students take new classes with them.
3.Review
Play a game: Guess animals.
T: It’s fat. It has big eyes. It’s black and white. What is it?
S:It’s a panda.
T:Look at that monkey. / Look at that pig.
S: It’s thin. / It’s fat.
(复习单词fat thin tall short )
Step 2 : Presentation
(1) Look at the pictures, and learning new words.
Small big,short long。
(2)教师出示单词卡片,再次认读单词big, long, short, small。
(3)多种方法学习新单词:如高低声、大小声、跟读、领读等。
(4)看动物图片学习句型It has ..., 并让学生看图读句子。
(5)学习Let’s learn.
学生跟录音读单词和句子,反复练习。重点学习新词:tail
(6)看图练习单词big, long, short, small。
Step 3 : Practice
(1)Game:唱反调
几名学生到台前做动作,练习几组反义词。
(2)Let’s do.
先播放视频然后学生跟读再做动作。
(3)Practice:
Look at the pictures. Read the sentence and choose the answer.
(4)Make sentences with the new words.
For example: My ruler is long. /My eraser is short.
(5)Describe the animals with “It has …”
For example: It has a big nose. / It has short legs.
Step 4 : Summary.
出示Let’s learn 图片,练习单词和句子。
Step 5 : Homework.
1、Draw your favorite animal and describe it.
2、Follow the tape and read it five times.
