Step1:
Listening practice
Let students know the task of listening.
Play the recording the first time and the second time, Have students do the task.
(1)Call attention to the list of cities and countries in 2a.Say: and countries. Circle the cities and countries you hear on the recording.
(2)Play the recording for the first time.ask students to circle as many as the answers as they can.
(3)Play the recording a second time. This time have students finish circling the answes.Play the recording a third time if necessary.
Step2:
Oral practice
Divide students into groups and let them ask and answer in groups.
First divide students into 4 groups. Each group can make up a ten-question quiz about cities and countries. In each group, there are some pairs. One students from a pair will ask a question. Another student from the other pair will try to answer.
