Step 1. Warming-up and revision
1. Say, Saturday and Sunday are the weekend.
2. Then tell some things you did last weekend such as,/ cleaned my house over the weekend.
What did you do last weekend?
I had a party with my friends.
What did she do last Saturday afternoon?
She danced last Saturday afternoon.
……
Step 2 Work on 1a
This activity introduces the key vocabulary.
1.T: Please open your books and turn to page 67. Look at 1a. Match the phrases with the
activities in the picture. Fill in the letters a to h in their right places.
2. Listen and show me the activities
Step 3 Work on 1b Listening
1. T: Look at the picture. What did Lucy do on Saturday morning? Did she play badminton on Saturday morning? (教师随机板书:on Saturday morning)
