Knowledge Objects: 1) 能掌握以下单词:. post, office , post office, police, police station, hotel, restaurant, bank, hospital, street, pay, near, across, across from, front, in front of, behind, town 能掌握以下句型: ① —Is there a hospital near here? —Yes, there is. ② The pay phone is across from the library. ③ The pay phone is between the post office and the library. 2) 能了解以下语法: —— Where 引导的特殊疑问句及其答语。 —— 学会There is / are…。Is/are there..的句型及用法。 2. Ability Objects: 1) To train students’ listening and speaking skills. 2) To improve students’ comprehension. 3. Moral Objects: Offer help to the people who’s in trouble. Ⅱ、Teaching Important Points: 1. Key vocabulary in this period. 2. Target language in this period. Ⅲ、Teaching Difficult Points: 1. How to improve students’ listening ability. 2. Review the pattern we learned last class. 2. Let some students to make sentences using “What” question pattern. 3. Have students give some answers. 4. Write the structure on the blackboard. 5. Start the class. Step 2. Presentation: 1. Have students look at the picture and read the words on the left. 2. Then ask a pair of students to read the dialogue in the picture. Step 3. 1a 1.
