Unit 4 Don’t eat in class. 第二课时 Section A(Grammar Focus-3c) 教学目标 【知识目标】 掌握下列句型: Can we wear a hat in class?Yes,we can./No,we can’t. Don’t run in the hallways. Does he have to wear a uniform at school?Yes,he does./ No,he doesn’t. What do you have to do?We have to be quiet in the library. 【教学重点】 1.谈论对某些规章制度(校规、家规等)的看法 2.了解一些常用标志的含义。 3.学会使用祈使句来制定一些规章和制度。 【教学难点】 1.用祈使句、情态动词can、must及have to来表达各种规章制度; 2.能用所学的知识来制定一些简单的规章制度。 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up 1.Check the homework.Ask some students to read their rules. 2.Review some useful expressions. Step 2 Grammar Focus. Read the sentences in Grammar Focus and do some exercises without books. 1.不要在楼道里跑。 Don’t run in the hallways. 2.不要打架。 Don’t fight. 3.有什么规则? What are the rules? 4.我们必须按时上课。 We must be on time for class. 5.——我们可以在教室里吃东西吗? ——不能。但我们可以在餐厅里吃东西。 —Can we eat in the classroom? —No,we can’t,but we can eat in the dining hall. 6.我们可以在教室里戴帽子吗? Can we wear a hat in class? 7.我们必须在学校里穿校服吗? Do we have to wear the uniform at school? 8.我们必须在图书馆保持安静。 We have to be quiet in the library. Check the answers by themselves.(引导学生学会自主探究学习和合作学习) Step 3 Writing(3a) 1.Look at the signs and guess the meaning of the signs.Ask the students to write the rules for the school library according to the signs. 2.Let some students read their rules aloud. 3.Check the answers with the class.(创设贴近学生生活实际的语境,提高学生学习兴趣) (1) Keep quiet in the library. (2) Don’t listen to music in the library. (3) Don’t eat or drink in the library. (4) Don’t take photos in the library. Step 4 Practice 1.Read the example first and then make questions about the rules with the words in 3b.Then write answers according to your school. 2.Try to work by the students themselves. 3.Ask and answer in pairs.
