In this study，the SWOT matrix was established and applied to analyze the advantages ，disadvantages，opportunities，and threats of prefabricated buildings in its development in China’s rural area. As a result ，this paper provided the corresponding strategies and suggestions for the development of prefabricated buildings in China’s rural area.
