ABSTfLA(了A ABSTfLA(了 A STUDY oF RECoNFIGUR ATIoN IN DISTRIBUTIoN SYSTEM BASED oN IMPRoVED GENETIC ALGoRITHM ABSTRACT Distribution system is an important part in power system which connect power production to eonsume r-Distribution reconfiguration is an important aspect of distribution system automation and optimization．The aim of reconfiguration is that it has big economy and society benefit for enhancing system’S security and economy and reliability by changing the open／close status of the tie and subsection switches under both normal and abnormal operating conditions． Network reconfiguration is a nonlinear combination optimization problem．The dissertation solve the problem and search the best structure of the distribution system by the improved genetic algorithms． Firstly,a method being fit for distribution network topology structure identify based on branch current power flow is proposed Secondly,improving all the aspects of genetic algorithms，such as coding strategy,selection operation，crossover operation，mutation III ABSTRACToperation ABSTRACT operation and convergence rule etc．At。the same time a approach using both fuzzy control theory and genetic algorithms is used for changing crossover and mutmion rate．Then study the constraints handling， construction of fitness function and the algorithms basal steps and flow chart is given． Thirdly,based on actual distribution network a mathematics model consisting of power wasting least，minimum number of switching operations，load balance and worst voltage least is considered，which suit for practicality．By changing the weight coefficients transforming the multi·-objective problem into a single-。objective one At the last of the paper,the dissertation make a principium discussing under both normal and abnormal operating conditions by the improved genetic algorithms．As the optimizmion results show,the method has fine ability of global searching and good solution speed． KEY WORDS：distribution network；reconfiguration；genetic
