桂林工学院硕士学位论文ABSTRACT 桂林工学院硕士学位论文 ABSTRACT PC cluster iS more and more popular in universities and the scientific research Organization，owning to its flexibility,extension and the performance that price compared to．At present，many research are carried out in the parallel clusters or the cluster of PC．This article introduced the theory of parallel computing and Parallel Virtural Machine that supports network parallel computing．By smallest cost，we have established COW(Cluster Of Workstation)that based on PVM．，which has provided the essential‘hardware foundation for computing of the occaln inversion．First，we build the multi—point PC cluster,Second，we test the correspondence detention of the point to point that uses the Ping—Pong principle and the performance of the PC cluster that uses matrix multiplication as well，what acceleration and efficiency achieved 4．78 and O．85， then the performance of this COW is quite good．In addition，we should control the parallel granularity,reduce the correspondence as far as possible． In earth electromagnetism(MT)inversion method，Occam inversion is used widely because of its stably restrains as well as does not rely on the initial model characteristic．But obtaining the Lagrange value causes the model to develop massively, the the inversion speed is very small．Therefore，this article studied the method to solve this problem by parallel computing which based on the PC cluster．First，elaborating Occam inversion；Second adopting great granularity parallel of Lagrange scan while Calculates the value of la；then producing the realization method and the flow chart of the parallel computing．We distributed the scan duty group to different point，namely on the PC cluster’realized the parallel computing of the Occam inversion by Master-Slave programming patter on the PC cluster．The master process maintains the overall construction of data，is responsible for the duty division and sending as well as the receiving and combination of computing result；The Sla
