华中科技大学硕士学位论文 华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 II万方数据 II 万方数据 Abstract Currently international environmental organization pays close attention to Chinas carbon emissions .Jiangsu Province ,as Chinas important economic province ,has played a leading role in energy conservation . Jiangsu Province is at the second stage of energy conservation, carbon emissions and total energy use rise slowly, but carbon intensity has been showing rapid downward trend. According to the current progress, the paper focus on exploring the practical significance of energy conservation、the carbon emission intensity factor and the shock effect among the main factors. First, based on the LMDI method,the paper analyzes the carbon intensity of Jiangsu Province, the carbon intensity is decomposed into energy intensity, energy structural effects, effects of labor migration, per capita income and economic growth effect . Based on Economic and energy data from 1995 to 2011 ,the analysis reveals Jiangsu Provinces carbon intensity changes. Second,according to the pearson correlation test , the paper filter out the influential factors to the carbon intensity.Then, we build the VAR model and impulse response function to found the internal influence between the carbon intensity and the factor.At last ,the paper put forward the policy advices and the solutions . Based on the above analysis, from 1995 to 2005, the improvement of the energy efficiency contributes to reducing the carbon intensity,the optimization of the energy structure are not able to get the specific performance. The natural gas has early been used but still of a narrow range now.The labor migration widened the gap of workers of the second industry and the tertiary industry,Beside the tertiary industry of jiangsu did not follow the Low-Carbon model .
