As a product of economic globalization,supply chain management(SCM)and supplier relationship management(SRM)have become the new management model for enterprises to reduce operating costs,improve efficiency,strengthen core competitiveness.Since its introduction the late 1 980s in construction,SCM has improved the efficiency of the construction industry,and thus enhanced enterprise competitiveness in the international alena.For core enterprise in construction supply
chain,in order to gain a competitive edge,it becomes key means that establishing and maintaining effective relationships with supplier.However,sustainable and efficient relationship depends on the proper management of the relationship between core enterprise and suppliers.Thus,how to improve the capability of SRM is important research of construction supply chain management(CSCM).
Firstly this paper discusses the research background,domestic and intemational research.Then it points out that it is necessary to identify the relationship between core enterprise and suppliers,and establish or maintain different forms of relationship according the requirement of enterprise.Based on the related research Oil SCM and SRM,according the theories of capability maturity model integration,combined谢tll the characteristics of construction industry,this paper identifies four degree of construction supplier relationship assessment model,and analyses the characteristics and key factors of relationship degree.Thus,construction supplier relationship assessment model(CSRAM)is set up,which provides a theoretical basis for enterprise and suppliers to improve relationship.
Based on CSRAM,current evaluation method is analyzed,and a new method, called PROMETHEE,is proposed to evaluate relationship degree.Then,in orde to help the two sides to identify the relationship weak point and take improvement measure,the evaluation results is showed in radar map.
