And because of the increase in cars, the citys traffic has become crowded more and more frequent. The demand of people for intelligent traffic guidance and traffic information service is becoming more and more urgent. Firstly, this article summarized the related theories and researches of the intelligent transportation system and project management. Then, based on the theories of project management, this article analyzed the intelligent traffic guidance system of Jiangsu Province by nine knowledge areas of project management. It aimed at analyzing the feasibility and possible shortage of the project. And the results of the analysis show that, though the project can achieve project goals, there are still some shortcomings. To this, this article puts forward some suggestions for building the adaptive intelligent traffic guidance information service system of Jiangsu Province.
