In this paper the structure characteristics ，design principIes and faciIity Iocation of the reverse Io- gistics system are particuIarIy introduced ，and the issues for future research on the structure of reverse Io- gistics system are proposed. This study presents a mixed integer programming modeI to optimize the faciIity Iocation and the reverse distribution network.
