Through a contra tive tudy on the water toring green roof and the common roof in a certain living di trict in Xiangtan city, the article come to the conclu ion: the water toring green roof not only can enhance the urban ecoenvironment, but al o can modulate the indoor thermal property and decrea e the u ing of airconditioner , o it i a comprehen ive method to ave both water re ource and energy and can be popularized in the outh urban area .
