Unit 7 Will people have robots?
Section A (1a-1c)
Analysis of the teaching materials:
1A-1C is the leading part of unit 7. Students have known a little about simple future tense in unit 6, but it is the first time to learn “will”. In this part, the main sentence structures have appeared totally. (People will have robots in the future. Will people have robots? Yes, they will./No, they won’t.) They are the key points.
Analysis of learners:
The students have learned English for some years, so they have some basic knowledge to learn this unit. Whats more, the students have learned uint6 and they know how to use be going to to talk about things in the future. So they can learn this unit more easily.?They are motive and active, but?their thinking ability is not fully developed.
Teaching Aims:
1. Knowledge aim: enable students to learn how to make predictions by using simple future tense
2. Ability aim: to improve students listening and speaking skills
3. Effective aim: to improve the students’ thinking ability, and make them have a dream, then work hard for their dreams.
Teaching key points: People will have robots in the future.
Will people have robots?
Yes, they will. /No, they won’t.
Teaching Difficulty: Use the simple future tense to make predications.
Teaching Methods: Listening, discussion, communicative teaching method...

Greet students.

Step 2 Presentation
1.Play a song to lead in the topic.
Ask students to be a predicator.
2. Learn to predicate according to the magic mirror.
3. Ask the students to remember the predications they have made, then challenge their mind by a game.
4. Ask a students to show his or her own ideas about the predications with “disagree, or agree”, and encourage others to show their own ideas.
5. Challenge students’ listening ability.
