Leading in the new lesson T: Class begins. Ss: Good afternoon T: Good afternoon, boys and girls. T: I want to have a birthday party for you .Would you like to join us? Ss: Yes , we’d love to. T: I think if you go to the party, you’ll have a great time. T: Today we are going to learn Unit 10 If you go to the party, you’ll have a great time! Step Two:New words and drills 1. Present the new words T: I have a piece of good news. Our school will have a party. I will wear jeans to the party. What’s the meaning of “jeans”? S1: 牛仔裤 (Show a picture of a pair of jeans on the screen.) T: Yes, that’s right. Read after me, jeans-jeans. T: For example: a pair of jeans, wear jeans. But if I wear jeans to the party, the teacher won’t let me in. What’s the meaning of “let… in”? T: Next I often get up at 8:00 on weekends. When do you get up? S1: I get up at 9:00. T: What will happen if you get up at 9:00 on weekdays? S1: If I get up at 9:00, I will be late. T: What will happen if you are late. S1: If I am late, the teacher will be angry with me.
