教材分析： 本课选自人教版新目标八年级上册第五单元，通过谈论各种电视节目使学生学会陈述看法和意见并表达自己的喜好。提倡从学生的学习兴趣、生活体验和认知水平出发，通过贴近生活的话题来体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式，使学生逐步掌握本课重难点，本课时正是基于这样的背景设计的。 学情分析： 本课主要是以娱乐活动为话题来谈论喜好和制定计划，贴近学生的生活，符合生活实际，能使每个学生都能有话可说，有事可做。 学习策略： 本课主要是通过“创设情境”的教学原则，并通过任务型教学（task—based learning）交际教学（communicative teaching method）创造性地使用英语。在“学中用，用中学”，从而引导学生们形成正确的文化观念，大力培养学生们的跨文化意识，形成自己独立的个性。 教学目标： 1. 知识与技能：能掌握以下单词sitcom, news, talk show, soap opera, game show, spots show, talent show。 能掌握以下句型What do you want to watch? Guess the name of a famous TV program “Where are we going Dad? ” to inspire their interest. Step 2 Presentation New words What kinds of TV shows do you know? Look at the pictures about some their familiar TV shows and volunteer to answer. Follow one student to read the TV shows loudly then match them with the relative pictures in 1a. Sentence patterns Learn the sentence patterns on the blackboard. Then there is a PK between boys and girls. Talk about their opinions about the TV shows. Practice the patterns for several times.
