The mi pacts of dye- ing temperature, tmi e, pH value and mordant concentration on dyeing to w hite yak hair w ere inspected. The resu lts show that th is natural p igm ent forwh ite yak hair dyeing performs a direct effect. Temperature is themost mi portant factor. A lum inum and zinc ion can dye hair brow n, w hile hair color turns to be black under iron ion. T emperature and concentration ofmordant are mi portant factors. Th is test provides prepa- ration of hair dyes in d ifferent colorsw ith theoretical know ledge.
