Example 11: Precision Slaving This example shows how the PMAC can use an external time-base source for sophisticated precision slaving appli-cations. Here it is used for multiple-pass screw threading on a lathe with an open-loop spindle. Coil winding appli-cations are virtually identical as are cut-on-the-fly applications for conveyorized or extruded material.
