Unit 6 Work quietly Part A Let’s talk 普顺学校,付娅文 Teaching Aims: Language objectives: To make sure that students can read, speak and use “-What are they doing?-They are eating lunch!”、“-What is the little monkey doing?-It’s playing with its mother.”、 “-What are the elephants doing?-They are drinking water. ” To make sure that students can read ,speak and use phrases: eating bamboo, eating lunch, drinking water and so on. Ability objectives: (1)To develop Ss’ abilities of listening and speaking. (2)To train the Ss’ ability of working in groups. Moral objectives: To foster Ss’ consciousness of good co-operation and proper competition. Difficult and important points: Difficult points: To master these sentences and use in the real conversation. Important points: To read、speak and use these phrases and sentences . Teaching materials: PPT、CD、blackboard Teaching Procedures: Step 1 Warming-up Let’s sing“Animals, animals are everywhere” (1)Sing together (2)Ask and answer“Where are they?” e.g. T:Where are they? Ss: At the zoo./In the zoo. Do a game“I say, you say” e.g. T:I say plant, you say planting. Plant. Ss: Planting. T: Jump. Ss:…… Step 2 Task One Choose and speak out Test memory : give students one minute to remember and then answer “What are they?” --“drinking、playing、climbing、sleeping、eating、dancing .” Step 3 Task Two Tick the right pictures. 播放录音,选择正确的图片。 Discuss and describe. (1)教师示范,举例描述说明图片。 e.g. Picture 1: I can see two birds. They are white. They are sleeping. (2)学生自由练习:按上述例子用英语描述剩下三幅图片。 (3)抽生说。 Let’s talk 看图回答问题: “What are the pandas doing?” ”What the little monkey doing? ” 4.
