The compositions and structures of the complexes were characterized by complexometric titration, element analyses, infrared spectra, single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses, X-ray powder diffraction, thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry (TG-DSC). The main work of this paper is as follows: Three kinds of picolinic acid complexes [Co(pic)2(H2O)2]?2H2O, [Cu(pic)2]?2H2O and [Co(H2O)5][Co(dipic)2]?2H2O were synthetized with 2-picolinic acid (Hpic) or pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid (H2dipic) and cobalt(II) chloride or copper acetate as raw materials. The two-dimensional network dinuclear bismuth(III) complex [Bi2(Hedta)2]?4H2O and the antimony(III) complex [Sb(Hedta)]?2H2O were synthetized with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid and bismuth nitrate or antimony trioxide as raw materials. The metal-organic coordination polymer (MOFs) with novel multidimensional structure and single crystal [Ni2(μ4-btca)(1,4-bib)2(H2O)2]n was synthetized with 1,2,4,5-benzenetetra-carboxylic acid, 1,4-bis(1H-imidazol-4-yl) benzene (1,4-bib) and nickel chloride hexahydrate as raw materials.
