Ionic liquids and sc2 C have been 2 2 paid much attention duetotheir uniqueproperties and environmental benignity. The combinationofthem has givenout many new merits on reactions and separations. Supercritical C is very soluble in ionic liquids, and can extract the 2 non2volatileproducts from ionic liquids. Since the ionic liquids and the catalysts dissolved in ionic liquids are insoluble in the sc2 C phase, their loss in the process can be eliminated. Therefore, the ionic liquidsPsc2 C system 2 2 could beused for environmental benign processes with good reaction2 separation performance.
