万方数 万方数据 Abstract Title: THE APPLIED RESEARCH OF NOBLE METALLIC OXIDE ANODE IN THE GROUNDING GRID OF SUBSTATIONS Major: Materials Processing Engineering Name: Mo CAO Signature: Mo CAO Supervisor: Prof. Ali LEI Signature: AU Lei Abstract The grounding grid plays an important role in anti-thunder，working earthing，aerial drainage and voltage-sharing and so on for transformer substations. Its one of key equipments to protect substations safety. The grounding grid has a serious corrosion ，because it is buried in the soil with complex physic-chemical properties for ages，adding the electric filed action that came from high power transmission voltage in the substations. This situation will not only affect the normal operation of substations ，but also trigger the accidents. It wi lI cause the huge financial loss and undesirable social impact. Aimed at the problems above，the key project about the grounding grid protection was established by the State Grid Corporation of China， this article was a part of it. Based on the corrosion cathode protection find ings of the pOI怡，oil and gas transportation pipelines in existence，used commercially available Ir-Ru-Ti noble metal oxide anode as the auxiliary anode，corrosion simulation tests for Q235 steel was designed by medium reinforcement method in the boxes of oil corrosion. The best lay way of noble metallic oxide anode was confirmed in the impressed current cathodic protection system of grounding grid. The corrosion rates of noble metallic oxide material in the different pH values and impressed currents densities were researched by anodic polarization curve and alternating current impedance (EIS). The theory basis was provided for the noble metallic oxide material used in the impressed current cathodic protection system of substations.
