Although most of the differential equation can’t find out the exact solution, the solution can be estimated through the appropriate improvement of inequality. Then analyzing the solution’s qualitative properties about existence, uniqueness, boundedness and stability. Since Gronwall - Bellman - Bihari integral inequality was put forward, many experts and scholars at home and abroad make their efforts to this kind of integral inequalities’ generalization, improvement and application, in particular, the R.P.Agarwal、Pach- patte、 O.Lipovan、E.H.Yang、F.W.Meng、W.N.Li established more widely continuous and discrete Gronwall - Bellman - Bihari integral inequalities. The thesis was based on the established integral inequality, further promoting the several kinds of retarded integral inequality in one and two variables, and got some new valuable results. The thesis is divided into three chapters according to contents. In chapter 1, we introduce the background and the main problems of this dissertation.
