Part A Let`s learn Read and Say
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen!It`s my great honor to be here sharing my teaching design with you .Today ,I’m going to talk about “My school calendar”, My topic is “Part A Let’s learn ,Read and Say .”I will divide it into 9 parts.
Part 1 Analysis of The Teaching Material
This lesson is about school calendar .The months of different festivals will be clear to us after the discussion of school calendars. Also, some key words and sentence patterns will be introduced, and the students will know that different festivals reflect different cultures.
Part 2 Analysis of The Students
Though pupils are lacking in vocabulary. They are active and interested in some familiar topics, like the topic about months and activities, so they know what to do and what not to do.
Part 3 Teaching Aims
1 .Language knowledge
(1)To enable pupils to master new words from January to June and pronounce them correctly.
(2)To enable pupils to understand structures “When is ...?It`s in ...”and use them correctly.
2 Language skills
To develop pupils’ abilities of listening, speaking reading and writing. Ss can use the month words and structures freely.
2 Emotional aims
(1) To train pupils` interest in the activities about school calendar and arouse their learning motivation.
(2) To train pupils’ sense of participation and cooperation .
Part 4 Key and Difficult Points
Key points
(1)Ss can catch, speak, read, and write the words “January, February, March, April, May, June.”
(2) Ss can grasp the sentence pattern When is...? It`s in...
Difficult points
(1)The pronunciation of January and February.
(2)Using the words and structures they have learned to express their daily life.
Part 5 Teaching Tools
(1): The video. It can arouse the Ss’ enthusiasm in class .
(2): Prepare four pictures of seasons to draw the month words .
C: Prepare some red stars to award the Ss who do a good job .
