Exp eriment s of coculture wit h Pav lov a v i ridis and Tet rasel m is tet ret hele were carried out . Result s showed a transp arent p henomenon of intersp ecific comp etition between t hem . The comp etition was identified as an exploitation t yp e t hrough ( ) ( ) analysis. In t he coculture , bot h t he growt h rate r and t he carrying cap acity K of two sp ecies were affected , wit h a greater influence on P . v i ridis t han on T . tet ret hele ,according to t he comp arision wit h t hose from t he pure culture of two sp ecies. Each of intersp ecific comp etitive p arameters of one sp ecies to t he ot her was calculated ,and t he result s showed t hat T . tet ret hele possessed a more intersp ecific comp etitive cap acity . Meanwhile , under t he coculture condition , bot h of t he carrying cap acity of two sp ecies were closely related to t heir resp ective inoculation density . The growt h rate of P. v i ridis was in a positive proportion to it s inoculation density , while a negative one existed in T . tet ret hele .
