Step 4 While reading.
1. Read the three passages and find their opinions about friends.
2. Underline the comparative words and phrases in the passages.
3. Have a competition: Which group can do the best?
Scan and finish the tasks in their own groups
Check with each other and then show their answers.
Step 5 After reading.
Work on 2c. Are the questions true or false?
