The arrival of industrial civilization and the emergence of the national and social crisis led to the emergence of rebel in the fatherhood-dominated tra- ditional ethical system. The new order was to be established, and conflicts happened repeatedly between the elder and the rebel, even the views of the young generation were hardly the same as others. Lao She surveyed the differences and contra- dictions between the two generations from multiple perspectives, pointed out the drawbacks of traditional Chinese culture, and made a deep thinking about the way of Chinese cultures modernization.
