This is mainly an orientation of the course and skill training session. Purpose: The students will be informed about the purpose and requirement of the course. They will concentrate on the skill training as warming up for the course including memory training, note taking, reproduction etc. Objectives: Students will be able to Comprehend – have a good comprehension of the talks delivered. Take notes – note down the important information heard from the talk for either reproduction or interpretation. Reproduce – retell what they hear from the talks and express it fluently and accurately. Resources/Materials: Transcript and recording of the following:. The students are required to take notes during the process so that they will be able to reproduce it afterwards.
