Brief Introduction of Huangshi Central Hospital Established in 1956, Huangshi Central Hospital (HCH) (former named as No. 3 Peoples Hospital of Huangshi) is the largest hospital in Southeast Hubei Province and the unique national AAA comprehensive hospital in Huangshi and an affiliated hospital of Hubei Polytechnic University. It is located in the center of Huangshi with convenient transportations, beautiful surroundings, dedicated and caring team of doctors and nurses, and advanced facilities. It is the Red-Cross Hospital of Huangshi, the Emergency Center, teaching base of some famous medical universities and colleges such as Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Medical College of Wuhan University, Xianning College and Huangshi Institute of Techenology. It is also the designated hospital of new rural corporation medical care and urban employees’ medical insurance of the neighboring cities and counties like Daye, Yangxin, Xishui, Qichun and so on. In 1994, HCH passed the assessment of national AAA hospital and was awarded “babyloving?hospital”. It has won honorable titles of civilized hospital in municipal and provincial level for successive years. In 2009, it was awarded the title of “Outstanding AAA Hospital” by Hubei Provincial Department of Health Care. HCH covers an area of 35,000 square meters with a construction area of 68,000 square meters. There are staff of 1289. 58 doctors, nurses, pharmacists and technicians have got the counterpart title of professors, 190 doctors, nurses, pharmacists and technicians the counterpart title of associate professors. 4 have got Doctor’s degree of Medicine and 133 Master’s degree of medicine.
