ABSTRACT
Not only season seasonal frozen temperature, and the day is also a great temperature difference between day and night, in this case, Roadbed produce freezing and thawing, pavement temperature cracks, temperature shrinkage cracks, reflection cracks and other cracks easily, which affects road performance and service life.
In this paper, we investigated seasonal frozen pavement area on the National Highway G111 reconstruction project ( from section NanDaLiang to section SaDaiGouMen ) . By analyzing the characteristics of seasonal frozen and Pavement
climatic causes, we can get the seasonal frozen Pavement generation mechanism. T hrough comparative analysis of disease control technical measures including pavement cold recycling technology, SBS modified asphalt pavement, and SMA Asphalt Pavement, SMA Asphalt Pavement obtained has better performance and crack resistance, and proposed SMA surface + Semi-rigid base+ Gravel Cushion Structure Design Method.
By analyzing the temperature field boundary conditions, building structure
model of SMA pavement, and with ANSYS finite element software to analyze pavement temperature distribution and road surface temperature gradient force characteristics, Based on this, getting the bottom layer of SMA and the surface layer of stress and time sine function relational model. By constructing SMA pavement structure model and ANSYS software to analysis pavement joint load and temperature field under coupling SMA Asphalt Pavement mechanical performance, to get the conclusion that seasonal frozen pavement damage is caused mainly by the tensile stress temperature load. Achievements can effectively prevent early disease and prolong the life of asphalt pavement, road maintenance and reconstruction to reduce the economic costs for Chinas highway transportation infrastructure is important.
