It is a reading lesson, and it’s helpful to improve the Ss’ communicative and reading ability. 2.本节课分为四个部分内容，分别是：section B的3a.3b.3c和4四个部分. This lesson has four parts. They are 3a, 3b, 3c and 4 of section B. 3.本节课是在学习section A的基础上，进一步学习when引导的时间状语从句。 This lesson is based on section A, and study Adverbial clauses with when further. 二、教学目标和要求 Teaching aims and demands 1．认知目标 knowledge objects 1). 让学生记住以下新单词和短语。Enable the Ss to remember the following new words and phrases: well-known, pianist, could, hum, piece, accordion, alive, athlete, piece of music, take part in, at the age of, win first prize 2).让学生熟悉句型。Let the Ss to be familiar with this sentence pattern: When was he born? He was born in 1982. When did he begin to learn the accordion?
