Canada 教学案例 ???? 西小 张元英 一、案例背景 1、设计思路：本节课的设计主要依据教学内容和五年级学生的年龄特点，充分体现新课程标准下倡导的“让学生在教师的指导下，通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式实现任务目标，感受成功”的理念，使学生在情景中感受、体验和运用新学语言。 2、教学内容：冀教版小学英语第五册Unit2 Lesson11:Canada 3、教学目标： 【知识目标】 1）识读、理解、运用Canada, English, French, capital等词汇。 2）熟读、理解、背诵并灵活运用文中重点句子。 A. I know about Canada. B. --- What do you know? ???? --- I know …… 【技能目标】 通过本节课的教学活动，使学生对加拿大有所了解。 【情感态度价值观】 通过设置情景，激发学生的学习兴趣。 4、教学重难点： 1）识读、理解、运用Canada, English, French, capital等词汇。 2）熟读、理解、背诵并灵活运用文中重点句子。 ?A. Ask some questions about China. 1. What country is this? 2. What do we speak in China? 3. What’s the capital city of China? 4. What colour is China’s flag? What can you see on the flag? 5. How to say “天安门广场” and “故宫博物馆” in English ？ （设计意图）复习上节课学过的有关中国的知识，检查学生的学习效果；通过复习旧知引出新授。 Step Ⅲ New Concepts Learning ( 新授 ) Introduce the new lesson with a short movie about Canada. （设计意图）通过观看加拿大的旅游短片，引出新课教学，激发学生的学习热情。 Write down the title on the blackboard. Show the map of Canada. Introduce the capital city of it. Pay attention to the Chinese of “Ottawa”. ( 渥太华 ) We speak Chinese. Do they speak Chinese in Canada? No. They speak English and French in Canada. Show the picture of Canada’s flag. Talk about it with the students. What colour is it? What’s on the flag?
