华中科技大学硕士学位论文 华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 II II Abstract With the rapid development of computer technology, casting CAE technology has been widely applied in practical production, such as numerical simulation in casting solidification process, casting mold-filling process, stress field and casting micro-structure. On this basis, to numerically stimulate and predict the mechanical performance of the casting has always been one of the most important and difficult aspects for the research of the scholars at home and abroad, as well as one of the hot spots for casting CAE technology. As the casting of engine family, cylinder casting is the most representative casting product. There are great practical values and research meanings to conduct experiment and simulation research on hardness performance. The current paper takes the grey casting iron as the research subject, which is produced by NO.1 Foundry of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company. Taking the hardness field of casting as the key point, experimental research and numerical simulation are carried out. The experimental research on harness field of cylinder head casting refers to a set of practical plans of casting section and hardness experiment, according to the characteristics of cylinder heading casting of grey iron. Based on this experiment design, the whole process of casting production is followed and some teeming parameters of the casting are obtained, such as teeming temperature, teeming time and teeming liquid iron components. At last, the section and hardness experiment are conducted on two groups of finished cylinder heading castings, and 85 actually measured hardness data on each cylinder heading casting are acquired. For the numerical simulation of the hardness field of the casting, based on the teeming parameters acquired from the experiment, InteCAST is applied to make the numerical simulation on temperature field during solidification process of the casting.
