Research Research on Immigrant Children’S Urban Social Integration in America Postgraduate： Yang Yibo Supervisor： Yang Maoqing Major： Comparative Education Research Orientation： Comparison of Basic Education Grade： 2013 Abstract The proportion and growth tendency of American immigrant children population determine that the degree of immigrant children’S social integration has important influence on the future development of America．Education integration，cuRure integration and psychology integration are the three main dimensions of immigrant children’S social integration．The main problems immigrant children facing in the process of integrating into society are racial prejudice，legal status differences，language barriers，poverty and psychological pressure．To he|p immigrant children to integrate into society in America，the corresponding strategies mainly include establishing social support networks based on community，developing bilingual education based on multicultural perspective，attaching great importance to early education based on parent-child cooperation and providing mental health services based on campus． Analyzing problems and solving strategies of immigrant children’S social integration in the United States，can provide beneficial reference to promote the degree of social integration of Chinese peasant workers’accompany-migrated children． This thesis consists of six parts．The first part is for introduction,mainly including raising the issues，the purpose and significance of the research and literature review．I Can fmd the related theoretical basis and conform research methods by sorting and summarizing the existing research results．This part is the foundation of the main content． The second part is about the background，special implication and current situation of the urban social integration of American immigrant children．Complicated historical hackground and the reality of muiticultural environment gives American immigrant children and their urban social in
