II II 摘 要 民国时期甘肃美术事业的发展，同战时大后方的其它地区一样，呈现出一片 蓬勃之象。战时特殊的社会环境，使大批艺术家纷纷走向西部，此时敦煌艺术的 神秘面纱被揭开，敦煌成为了艺术家们西行的首选之地。兰州独特的地理位置， 在民国时期成为“开发西北”的建设重镇。一时间，众多文化名人，艺术家、学 者、考察团在甘肃大地驻足。在这一历史背景下，甘肃美术事业出现了一段良好 的发展期，组成了大后方美术的一部分。 敦煌和兰州是甘肃美术发展的两个主要基地，聚集了大批艺术家，他们在这 里进行艺术活动，对甘肃美术产生了较大影响，促进了甘肃美术事业的发展。20 世纪初期敦煌在一片疮痍下，引起国人重视，继李丁陇、王子云、张大千等人在 敦煌的考察研究之后，于 1944 年成立了敦煌艺术研究所，吸引了大批美术家来 到敦煌，他们匍匐沙海，汲取养料，在对敦煌艺术进行研究保护的同时，进行艺 术创作，他们的艺术活动构成了甘肃美术发展的重要部分。 兰州作为交通要道，是艺术家们穿行西北的必经之地。留下了诸多知名艺术 家的身影，这一时期，兰州美术氛围变得颇为活跃。美术家人员构成趋于多样化， 外来美术家成为甘肃艺术发展的生力军。各种美术展览接连不断，名人名家画展 时有出现。居留于兰州的大批画家，热心参与美术活动，组织美术团体，积极促 进地区美术的发展。漫画、木刻此时开始在兰州地区起步，为建国后的发展奠定 了基础。随着“中华全国美术会西北分会”的成立，甘肃美术发展逐渐走向了成 熟 关键词：甘肃美术 民国时期 敦煌 兰州 III III Abstract The development of art of Gansu in the Period of the Republic of China like that in other areas during the time of Anti-Japanese war, presented a state of prosperity. Such special social environment left the opportunities for many artists to explore the West China, and Dunhuang became the first choice of artists after the revealing of the charm of the art there. Due to the unique geographical location, Lanzhou made itself an important town for exploring the West at that time. Meanwhile a great number of cultural scholars, artists stationed in Gansu .Under such historical background, the art in Gansu appeared a well-going period, which made up a part of art development of the Great Rear Area. Therefore Dunhuang and Lanzhou turned to be the two bases, where the art had been promoted. In 1944, the Dunhuang Art Research Institute was set up, and a pack of artists crawled through there , drew nourishment and carried forward the art of Dunhuang . As the traffic artery ,a transfer station and supply stop, Lanzhou grasped footprints of many famous artists .At that time ,the art atmosphere was active with continuous exhibitions ,even sometimes well-known artists’ shows . Furthermore a lot of artist residing in Lanzhou were keen of art activities, and organized art groups which well promoted and guided the art developm
