By applying the principle that the applying amount of fertilizer nutrients must be keep on the same level and the ratio of N、 P2O5、K2O must be stay at 2:1:3，the experiment is designed into five treatments with different proportions of controlled release fertilizer applied amount in the total applying amount of N. Those five proportions are 0（CK)、1/3（A）、1/2（B)、2/3(C)、1(D). The research study the impact which these five treatments have on cassava’ agronomic character 、cassava’s physiological and biochemical character、leaf’s nutrient element content、soil’s available nutrients 、root‘s economic character and the root’s yield in different periods . The purpose of this experiment is to explore the feasibility of applying controlled/slowed-release fertilizer in the course of cultivation of cassava，to understand influences of on cassava growth and yield， and to establish suitable application method of the control /slow-release fertilizer for high-yield cultivation of cassava，this research can provide basis theoretical for cassava high-yield cultivation. The conclusions are as follows： 1、The effect of applying control /slow-release fertilizer on root’s economic characters and the root’s yield.
