He always tells the stories about “power” and “speaking” and pursues the Narrative that can show the universality. He often falls into the despair and nothingness because he sees clearly. But he chooses to fight with this despair and nothingness because he has sense of mission, responsibility, awareness and sense of presence. In the fist chapter of the preference, the theme of “power” and “speaking” was used as entry point. It studies the author’s despair about the human and the world. Liu Zhenyun find the process in which the people fight for “power” and “speaking” shows some deeply personal characteristics and some relations about individuals and the world. In this process human is always in pain and loneliness which is caused by the four reasons: the first, human desire is endless and human struggle to meet the desire ; the second, the people have to “say”, but “say” in nowhere; the third, individuals exist because of the others definition but others are “infinite others” who are constantly changing and can be not grasped ; the fouth, the people survives because of the “certainty” but all always present “uncertainty”. At the same time human exist because of the pain and loneliness so human loss the possibility of redemption in the final sense. In the second chapter of the preference, we continue to be based method of analysis of text reading to analyze Liu Zhenyun’s despair which is showed on the narrative techniques. On the one hand in Liu Zhenyun’s works “time” is clear but in depth in Liu Zhenyun’s works story constantly repeats, a large number of characters are in the same style, the illusion and the truth constitute the plot, and the accidental plots are more than the inevitable.
