It is happening in the city of Leshan without exception. If the used appliances are not dealt with properly, it will cause great pollution to the environment and much waste to the resources. At present, there doesn’t exist any related legislation concerning the recycling of the used appliances. Although the management statute on the recycling of the used applications drawn up by the development and reform commission was listed in the lawmaking working plan for the year 2007 in the State Council, it has not been brought into effect. In the way of investigation and questionnaire, this paper surveys the status quo of the recycling of the used appliances in Leshan and analyzes the potential consequences this actuality might bring as well as the causes leading to this actuality, and finally puts forward the concrete law strategies based on the analysis. The research and investigation of the recycling of used appliances in Leshan may be of some reference value to the legislation concerning the recycling of used appliances in our country.
