Turnover Intention ofNurse
ABSTRACT
The quitting ofnursing staffhas been a worldwide problem,which results in the shortage in nursing manpower and undermines the nursing quality.Many countries have carded out the study of turnover as well
as taken measures for this,but this problem remained unresolved.So this is a strategical issue in challenge for nursing education.
This paper raises the issue from the status of shortage in nursing staff and the situation of schooling’being out of keeping with social demand,based on researching a great quantity literature,we began with the status investigation of nursing staffturnover intention,and then analyzed the influencing factors,consequently,we raised the
countermeasure on the aspect of nursing education
This study Was a investigating and experimental one,we researched a large quantity literature,set up the hypothesis,handed out questionnaire and then used the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS)115.Descriptive analysis,multiple linear stepwise regression and Spearman correlation analysis were performed.Data collection was done from January to April 2006.

score of turnover intention was high.80.7%nurses have the turnover intention from high to higher,among 3 dimensions turnover intention III scores highest.That means that there were many outer job opportunity for nurses.The factors influencing nursing staffs’tumover intention were organizational commitment,job satisfaction,educational background,
employment relationship,age and annual income.
In conclusion,the nursing resource kept instable.The running off of nursing staff should be paid more attention by nursing administer,
moreover,nursing education should resume the responsibility of continued education for nursing staff.Only by combining administration together with education,can we lower numing staffs’tumover,reduce the
